SEPIA is a platform built up of Modules and Hosts. Modules are brought to you by all your favourite manufacturers, while Hosts house them for all scenarios. Karno’s patent-pending Bridging Signal Flow between Module and Host creates a completely analog signal path, exploiting digitally controlled analog infrastructure, to provide a fully featured platform for the modern user.

To house SEPIA Modules are Hosts. Manufactured by Karno, SEPIA Hosts span the audio industry with forms optimised for all scenarios, from the desktop of a home studio to the stagebox of an arena concert. Regardless of form, SEPIA hosts contain the Mainframe, the heart of the SEPIA platforms technology.
Mainframe
The foundation of the SEPIA technology
Hosts contain the Mainframe comprising of Universal Elements (UEs) and a state-of-the-art routing matrix. UEs are made up of atonal stages redesigned to be as compact and efficient as possible, paired with Karno’s patent-pending Bridging Signal Flow between Host and Module, a complete circuit is achieved. With more packed in, a novel thermal system has been implemented to keep Modules cool, no matter the drive. Hosts also provide the exact power required for each Module’s design, something never before seen in a modular format.

With no physical controls the SEPIA platform utilises all that digital control has to offer with a desktop, tablet, phone and plugin application as well as seamless integration with consoles and controllers powered by the AEQUOREA engine. With features built in to cater all workflows the SEPIA control software brings authentic analog hardware into the modern workflow.
