Marketing Manager
We’re seeking a Marketing Manager to oversee a key and integral part of our rapidly expanding company. This is a huge opportunity to play an essential part in a fast-growing start-up who are currently in the process of shipping their first product. We are looking to tailor the role, and the department’s growth, around the right person and their skillset/experience. Therefore, your responsibilities could include:
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to penetrate and grow Karno Sound’s presence in key sectors
- Lead competitive market analysis to understand key trends, identify opportunities and adapt strategies
- Establish strong relationships with industry associations, influencers, partners and key opinion leaders.
- Oversee the creation and management of all marketing materials, including promotional videos, technical documentation, case studies, blogs, and social media content, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice across all channels.
- Manage external creative teams, including videographers, photographers, and graphic designers, to create compelling content that resonates with the target market.
- Plan, manage, and execute industry events, trade shows, and conferences
- Lead SEO/SEM initiatives to increase online visibility and drive organic traffic to Karno’s website.
- Take charge of the company’s social media strategy across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Analyse digital marketing metrics, including website performance, social media engagement, and campaign ROI, and adjust strategies accordingly for optimal results.
- Oversee email marketing campaigns, managing the end-to-end process from list segmentation to performance analysis.
- Identify and manage sponsorship opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with sales and product development teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with company objectives and customer needs.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI across all channels.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will be creative, passionate, and have:
- 4+ years experience in the pro audio industry in commercial roles
- Deep understanding of the pro audio market (live sound, theatre, studio etc.) and the specific needs of professionals in these fields.
You should have some or all of the following
- Creative thinker with a track record of delivering successful initiatives
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams (both internal and external), delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different audience segments.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making and improve campaign performance.
- Experience in social media, email campaigns and SEO/SEM
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects

Analog Electronics Engineer
We’re looking for a Mixed Signal Electronics Engineer with embedded experience to
join our dynamic R&D team as we work to launch our own product line. You’ll be:
Responsibilities
- Specifying, designing and laying out mixed signal electrical systems for innovative audio products
- Developing solutions focused on our users and industry
- Conducting thorough documented testing and investigation of technologies
- Shipping products, working on all stages of a project, including layout, DFM/DFA, Manufacturing and test engineering
- Taking ownership and responsibility within a small team while working closely with other departments
- Working with 3rd party manufacturers to onboard their products onto our platform
- Communicating with fabricators and suppliers for DFM and manufacturing procedures
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will be creative, passionate, and
- Have an analog electronics engineering background, with a relevant degree and at least 1 years professional experience
- Have excellent knowledge and experience of mixed signal design at audio frequencies
- Able to design circuitry and provide accurate schematics
- Aware of emerging trends and developments in relevant technology
- Have practical skills to assemble, test and debug electronics
- Is able to challenge the team and be challenged by it
- Have good experience and understanding of CAD
You should have some or all of the following
- Experience with high-performance analog systems
- Miniaturization and Rigid-Flex experience
- Experience with Altium Designer
- Experience with EMC pre-compliance testing
- Lifecycle management and procurement/supply chain experience
- An interest or background in professional audio (broadcast/studio/live events)
- Experience with automated hardware in the loop testing
- Experience with test driven development
- A basis of software programming to be able to advise on hardware and software integration
