The SEPIA Platform

Explore what makes SEPIA revolutionary

Made for the Professional

Designed in consultation with over 150 engineers, the L6 is the first of a long line of hosts developed for the SEPIA platform. The L6, a 1U, 19-inch unit with 6 module slots, has key features to provide safe, secure and flexible audio processing in the harshest of environments. This gives you, the user, the confidence to specify and rely on SEPIA across your entire mix. Truly show-critical and built to withstand the rigours and demands of modern touring, the L6 allows you to bring authentic analog hardware to your workflow on the road and in the studio.

Flexible I/O

Internally, SEPIA is an analog signal chain from start to finish. However, to integrate into modern workflows, the L6 can provide a variety of industry-standard Digital connections.

The L6 has 6 balanced analog XLR/TRS input connections and two balanced TRS auxiliary inputs which can be routed to any Module or Sidechain input. Digital inputs are provided via the digital option card.

Initially supporting DANTE with other protocols provided via Firmware update, the HXN1 provides two separate ethernet connections for fully redundant connectivity.

SEPIA Patch

Due for announcement in 2024, SEPIA Patch will add another level of innovation to the already game-changing SEPIA platform. SEPIA Patch will allow for routing between multiple hosts, including the L6 , giving users full creative freedom to build signal chains without needed to physically move Modules or compromise on their sonic integrity.

The L6 - Advanced Design

Every SEPIA L6 contains a unique Thermal system to cool its Modules. Heat is transferred through conduction from the top of each Module into the L6, with Thermal Bias Springs ensuring a strong connection between the two.

The L6 features vented sides and rear and also contains three heatsinks. These heatsinks are cooled using forced-air convection by an array of near-silent fans inside the Host that are only activated when necessary and respond with only the required level of cooling. The careful balance of these methods ensures a covert yet effective cooling system.

The rear of the L6 is dipped to allow air flow so units can be infinitely racked directly above or below one another, keeping valued rack space in mind.

Internally there are 6 separate power supplies to allow each module to receive the exact power they need to achieve full performance.

Providing complete piece of mind, each L6 will have a secure, secondary DC input fed by an independent supply meaning no system wide drop outs.

In the unlikely event of a complete power failure across both the Internal and External power supplies, the L6 will continue to pass analog audio through the system giving 100% show critical functionality.
